Luxury Interior Design Project Leader

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Project Manager to join our prestigious Interior Design Firm, OHARA DAVIES-GAETANO INTERIORS. This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with a talented team on high-end residential projects across various locations, including Los Angeles, Flathead Lake, and Palm Beach. Key Responsibilities: • Work closely with designers, architects, contractors, and artisans to ensure the success of luxury residential projects. • Assist in creating and managing impactful client presentations. • Lead the development of residential space planning tailored to client preferences. • Source high-quality products and materials while staying informed on current design trends. • Oversee pricing for all sourced products and maintain accurate pricing documentation. • Prepare detailed project documentation including drawings, specifications, and schedules. • Review all orders for accuracy and compliance with client specifications. • Ensure custom products meet all required specifications and quality standards. • Collaborate with the expediter for timely and accurate product deliveries. • Handle RMAs and ensure proper credits are applied to client accounts. • Maintain open communication with clients, providing regular updates and coordinating installations. • Be responsive across time zones to address installation issues as they arise. • Manage and inspire junior designers, fostering a collaborative and positive environment. • Coordinate with general contractors to ensure construction meets design intent. • Manage warehouse and logistics to ensure smooth installations. • Keep projects within budget and monitor financials throughout each phase. • Exhibit exceptional communication skills and adapt to evolving team and client needs. • Willingness to travel domestically as required. What We Are Looking For: Education: A 4-year degree or equivalent experience. Experience: 4-7 years in interior design with a focus on residential projects and space planning. Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with Studio Designer (or similar) and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Asana is a plus. Design Skills: Strong sketching and space planning abilities. Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and negotiation skills; professionalism in addressing inquiries. Organization: Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail. Problem-Solving: Resourceful with strong troubleshooting aptitude. Work Style: Independent yet collaborative, proactive in pursuing initiatives. Client Focus: Dedicated to providing exceptional luxury experiences. Work Schedule: This is a hybrid position requiring on-site work 4 days a week, with 1 remote workday. Candidates should be comfortable collaborating in person as well as managing remote tasks.
