Lighting Designer & Design Assistant

Summary We are looking for an experienced or entry level, high-end, Residential Lighting Designer to join our well-respected, well-established, systems integration firm. We design, sell, install and service all types of residential technology solutions. Essential Functions 1\\. Experience in lighting design, lighting control systems, and basic electrical knowledge 2\\. Communicates all activities to Manager. 3\\. Proficiency in AutoCAD & Microsoft Office, with AGI a plus 3\\. Must be able to communicate effectively with homeowner, interior designer and builders. 4\\. Capable of understanding architectural and interior design plans. 5\\. Use of AutoCAD to precisely layout and specify lighting design intent. 6\\. Work within project’s budget. 7\\. Manage lighting product from the specification, proposal, product procurement and product installation phases. 8\\. Work with builders and electricians to confirm product installation meets design intent. 9\\. Manages and completes all projects as assigned. 10\\. Maintains immaculate records. 11\\. Follows up on Product documentation daily. 12\\. Work with lighting control programmer to aim fixtures and create lighting scenes. 13\\.
