Job Description: We are currently seeking a Level III Interior Designer to join our team of professionals in our Orlando, FL office. The designer will assist in the management of the day-to-day production of multi-family interior design projects to meet deadlines accurately. Responsibilities include attending client meetings, creating and managing budgets and schedules, sourcing fabrics, wall covering, furniture and other materials and working with the team to prepare formal board presentations. This position will report to the Project Manager and assists in leading the junior design staff members. Responsibilities: • Provide Project Admin Support to Designers and Managers • Design multifamily projects • Interact with clients regularly • Ability to produce innovative, clear and functional Designs • Capable of preparing and presenting to clients both Virtually and In Person • Coordinate with other professionals such as contractors, architects, engineers and other consultants to ensure job success. • Develop strong relationship with Vendors • Prepare and manage Furniture Budgets • Utilize Vendors and Materials knowledge to create unique and innovative presentations • Work closely with project consultants to provide clear, concise and coordinated construction drawings • Review Drawing deliverables for manager’s review • Produce documentation, detailed instructions, drawings and specifications. • Successful at multi-tasking to meet fast paced project deadlines • Assist in Requesting Pricing for Budgetary Purposes • Adheres to & Understands Building codes & ADA Compliance throughout project lifecycle • Manage & Coordinate Installs • Record & Publish Meeting Minutes • Pull Furniture, Art & Accessory Selections • Domestic Travel is required • Ability to manage project schedule and deliverable dates • Provide Mentorship for Level 1 & 2 Designers More about you: • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design • Experience should be relevant to Multifamily • Technical proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite • Bluebeam, Revit & SketchUp is desirable • Excellent analytical & problem solving skills • Strong written and verbal skills • Ability to develop collaborative relationships across the firm and with clients • Ability to clearly communicate design ideas and concepts both verbally and digitally • Develop Strong Intercompany relationships Department/Reporting Relationship: • Studio Manager on Interior Design Team • Reports to the Project Manager & assists in leading the Level 1 & 2 Design Staff Why apply? • You are passionate about multifamily interior design and architecture • You want to be challenged in new and exciting ways that help you grow professionally • Salary and bonus commensurate with experience and your contribution to the company’s success • Repeat incentive bonuses • Hybrid work schedule opportunities • 401k and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision policies • Company paid Basic Life, AD&D, Short-term and Long-term Disability Insurances • Employee Assistance Program • Birthday day off • Two floating holidays • Give back to the community with HPAD Cares, and be involved with our wide variety of philanthropic partners • And much more… We hire great people from a wide variety of backgrounds because we know a diverse and inclusive workplace makes our company stronger.
