POSITION OVERVIEW The Interior Designer III plays a critical role in project execution, managing design tasks and providing technical expertise throughout all phases of a project. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, codes, and technical standards to support complex project delivery. This position may be based in our Dallas, Chicago, or Miami offices. RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead design development for specific components of projects, ensuring alignment with overall goals. • Collaborate with Senior Designers, Project Managers, and consultants to develop creative and functional solutions. • Produce detailed documentation, including construction drawings and specifications. • Serve as a resource for technical questions and quality control reviews. • Mentor Interior Designers I and II, supporting their technical and creative growth. TASKS • Manage design projects from concept to completion. • Lead client meetings and presentations. • Develop and oversee project budgets and schedules. • Collaborate on strategic business development. • Supervise and mentor junior and mid-level staff. QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field. • 4- 8+ years of professional experience. • Strong technical and design skills with proficiency in software such as Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite. • Proven ability to manage design tasks independently and lead portions of projects. • Certification as a licensed professional (NCIDQ) preferred but not required.
