Leading High-End Interior Design Projects

Senior Contract Interior Designer Position We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Interior Designer to collaborate with our dynamic in-house design team on high-end residential and commercial projects. As the Lead Designer, you will drive the creative direction, sourcing, and overall design vision. About the Role: • Lead the development of inspiration boards, space planning, FF&E, schematic design, construction documents, presentations, and renderings for high-end residential and commercial projects. • Oversee the sourcing of materials and furnishings within client budgets. • Closely collaborate with our in-house team, clearly communicating your vision and requirements. • Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring client expectations are met and standards of excellence are maintained. • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. • Travel to job sites for in-person projects and installs as needed. • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and associate designers through collaborative client engagements. Required Qualifications: • 7+ years of experience in interior design, with proven experience leading high-quality residential or commercial design projects. • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field. • Able to work remotely within the EST time frame. • Highly proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. • Highly proficient in AutoCAD and/or Sketchup. • Rendering capabilities in Rhino, 3Ds Max, and/or Vray not required but preferred. • Exceptional verbal and visual communication skills around functional and emotional design solutions. • Established sourcing network and knowledge of industry suppliers. • Strong communication and project management skills. • Experience managing design teams or collaborating with support staff.
