Lead Senior Interior Designer Our award-winning Annapolis-based interior design firm seeks a full-time Lead Senior Interior Designer. We are seeking a committed candidate who is experienced in independent client interactions and presentations and thrives in a fast-paced team environment... The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage jobs from beginning to end and be proficient in space planning, AutoCAD, architectural detailing, client presentations, installations, and follow-up. The candidate will meet budget guidelines and have extensive knowledge of application and vendor resources. Must be able to read plans in depth and work well in a team setting. Requirements · Hand drafting skills, including space planning and skilled in AutoCAD · Proficient in furniture and accessory placement · Extensive knowledge of vendor resources and communication with vendors and sub-contractors · Ability to follow through, effective decision-making, and skilled communication to foster positive team interaction · Manage jobs from beginning to end – schematic design, design development, ordering, installation and follow-up · Proficient in creating and presenting scopes of work to clients · Expert understanding of architectural detailing, application, and resources and the ability to read plans proficiently. · Professional practice – hold the highest standard of image and refined client interaction Required Education • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior or Architectural Design, required · Must possess a minimum 3-5 years of professional experience.
