This role demands a sophisticated aesthetic, exceptional creativity, and a deep understanding of luxury hospitality environments. You will lead the interior design process from concept development through to final execution, ensuring design integrity and alignment with client vision and brand standards. Responsibilities include conceptualizing unique design narratives, selecting exquisite materials and furnishings, developing detailed design documentation, and coordinating with architects, contractors, and consultants. A key focus will be on creating immersive and memorable guest experiences that reflect the unique character of each property. You will be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing junior design staff, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio showcasing award-winning interior design projects, particularly within the luxury hotel and resort sectors. Excellent technical skills in design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and rendering programs, are essential. A passion for design innovation, an understanding of current trends in hospitality, and strong client-facing skills are crucial for success. Responsibilities: Lead the interior design process for luxury hospitality projects, including hotels, resorts, and F&B venues. Develop innovative and sophisticated design concepts that align with client brand standards and target markets. Create detailed interior design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, material specifications, and furniture selections. Source and select high-quality furniture, fixtures, and finishes that embody luxury and durability. Collaborate closely with architects, M&E engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless design implementation. Oversee the work of junior designers, providing guidance and mentorship. Manage project timelines, budgets, and client expectations effectively. Prepare and present design proposals and project updates to clients and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, accessibility standards, and safety regulations. Stay abreast of emerging trends in interior design, hospitality, and luxury markets. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture. NCIDQ certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in interior design, with a significant focus on luxury hospitality projects. Demonstrated portfolio of exceptional interior design work in hotels, resorts, or high-end F&B establishments. Proficiency in interior design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering applications. Strong knowledge of interior finishes, furniture, lighting, and materials. Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills. Experience in leading design teams and managing project budgets. Understanding of hospitality operations and guest experience design principles.
