CANDIDATES MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE USA - US CITIZENS OR GREEN CARD HOLDERS About the Studio Global design firm specializing in hospitality, residential, and mixed-use projects.Multi-disciplinary teams collaborate across continents to create award-winning spaces for leading hotel and lifestyle brands.The San Francisco studio fosters a creative atmosphere with a commitment to excellence, mentorship, and career advancement.The Role As the Lead Interior Designer, you will take charge of large-scale hospitality design projects from inception through completion. You will build essential client relationships, steer design direction, and mentor junior designers, ensuring that all projects meet high creative and technical standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the interior design for various hospitality projects, from concept development to documentation and installation.Craft compelling design narratives, mood imagery, space configurations, and architectural details that encapsulate the client’s brand vision.Oversee the preparation of drawings, presentations, specifications, and material/FF&E selections with precision and accuracy.Manage the project team, including interior designers, FF&E designers, and visualizers, ensuring clear guidance and quality assurance.Present design concepts confidently to clients, incorporating feedback while maintaining the design integrity.Work closely with internal and external partners (project management, architecture, lighting, branding, and engineering) to address design and technical challenges.Review drawings, details, and schedules; ensure that all work complies with relevant building codes and brand standards.Participate in client discussions, site assessments, and mock-ups; provide on-site support and liaise with contractors throughout the construction phase.Assist in resource planning and project tracking, while maintaining awareness of fee structures.Mentor junior team members and encourage a collaborative learning environment.Experience and Qualifications 5-10 years of professional experience in interior design, focusing on hospitality (luxury hotels, resorts, F&B, or high-end residential).Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects from concept through construction in a design-driven studio.Strong portfolio showcasing hospitality projects with clear concepts, spatial planning, details, and FF&E selection.Advanced skills in AutoCAD and/or Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office; familiarity with visualization software like SketchUp is a plus.Solid understanding of US building codes and documentation standards, with experience in the California market being advantageous.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to manage client interactions effectively.Highly organized and proactive, able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple projects.Eligible to work full-time in the United States; exceptional candidates may be considered for relocation support.What’s on Offer Join a leading global hospitality design studio known for landmark projects and prestigious international brands.Enjoy a collaborative, diverse team culture with clear paths to advancement into associate and leadership roles.Receive a competitive salary and benefits package aligned with San Francisco market rates, along with hybrid work options and support for career development, including licensure and industry events.How to Apply Please submit your resume, portfolio (maximum 10-15MB or online link), and a brief note detailing your current notice period and salary expectations.
