Interior Designer
As an integral part of our Facilities Project Management Team, we are seeking a skilled Interior Designer to drive the success of our capital projects program.
• We require an expert in interior design to provide high-quality services for space planning, budgeting, specification, procurement, and installation of interior finishes.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive space analysis and design plans that meet academic pedagogy and workspace best practices standards.
• Key responsibilities include:
• Maintaining campus architectural finish and FF&E standards through needs assessment, space planning, and vendor relationship management.
• Developing interior design documents, including contract drawings, specifications, budget estimates, and purchase contracts.
• Providing guidance on applicable building code requirements, State, and Federal guidelines, as well as conducting site inspections and performing project support activities.
• Collaborating with Project Managers, consultants, and key stakeholders to facilitate project deliverables and ensure successful project outcomes.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess a Bachelors degree from a CIDA accredited Interior Design program and professional interior design experience. Desirable qualifications include proficiency in CAD software and higher education facilities experience.
