Senior Interior Designer Position We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Interior Designer to join our team in the Salinas area of the United States. About the Role: This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Senior Interior Designer to utilize their expertise and passion for design to make a meaningful impact on our organization. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design direction of projects from conception through completion. Key Responsibilities: • Develop project design direction in coordination with leadership. • Understand and formulate design concepts and present to clients. • Direct projects of all sizes and levels of complexity. • Provide design leadership to project teams. • Responsible for schematic design work. • Participate in the design control of projects in the design development, construction document, and supervision phases. • Provide direction to junior interior designers. • Integrate design requirements with architecture. • Prepare and develop drawings, models, images, material & mood boards and other documents relating to the design. • Coordinate the internal design team for the project. • Select and coordinate products and finishes for projects that meet sustainability goals. • Provide branding concepts for architectural projects. • Provide design direction for furniture and coordinate with furniture dealers to implement. Requirements: • Minimum 10+ years' experience in the field of interior design. • Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design (BS/BA/BFA/MA/MFA). • Strong interior design and leadership skills, demonstrating progressive responsibilities in all phases of architecture projects. • Substantial experience in the innovative design of complex, large-scale workplace projects. • Excellent Revit skills. • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, Adobe applications, and Rhino. • Excellent written / verbal communication skills. • Experience in construction phase. • Demonstrated thorough knowledge of architectural design, detailing, building materials, building codes, construction techniques. • Registered or pursuing registration preferred, LEED AP plus. • Strong planning skills are valuable. • Excellent knowledge of furniture, furniture systems, and interior finishes. • Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as part of an effective team.
