Lead Interior and Exterior Home Designer(Residential Homes)

YOUR ROLE As the Lead Designer, you are responsible for recruiting and leading the designer network, providing support, guidance, and collaboration, while also assisting in actual design work. WHAT YOU WILL DO -Oversee the entire design department setting standards for design and processes. -Lead our National effort to continue the expansion of our designer network. -Lead, support, manage, and develop the existing and future design teams both internal staff and external designers. -Participate in Exterior Design focused Business Development opportunities -Participate in Firmwide Strategic Planning with a focus on Exterior Design growth potential -Represent the firm at Industry Events as requested -Lead the Exterior Design RFQ / RFP Process -Oversee / drive selection of Building products, materials, and finishes YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture Must have 5 years of experience in a design firm environment with a dedicated focus on custom Residential Homes. CAPABILITIES Possess an understanding of design-related code and safety requirements, as well as a working knowledge of materials and construction techniques Resourceful, adaptable, focused, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing dynamics Effective time management, sense of urgency, and attention to detail; committed to meeting deadlines.
