About this role

We are an award-winning Interior Design firm recognized nationally for our high level of creativity seeking an experienced Commercial Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, Arizona. Our projects include clubhouses, recreational amenities, multifamily and hospitality environments. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 7 years experience in commercial/hospitality interiors. Key Responsibilities: o Lead the design process from concept to completion. o Provide project space planning, material selections, FF&E selections, drawing coordination and installation. o Collaborate with Clients, architects and contractors to deliver innovative and functional design solutions. o Manage project timelines, budgets and resources. o Oversee project team members, including Junior designers, interns and drafting personnel. o Ensure all designs adhere to safety standards, accessibility and local building codes. o Stay updated on industry trends, materials and technologies. o Represent our company with the highest level of professionalism, integrity and customer service. Qualifications: o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture o Minimum 7 years in commercial interior design, hospitality a plus o Proficiency in design software (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) o Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of completed commercial projects o Excellent communication, leadership and management skills o Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously o NCIDQ Certification, preferred o Strong knowledge in construction documentation and process o Proficient knowledge in interior and exterior furniture products and specifications o Excellent organization and attention to detail Communication & Presentation · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Excellent organization and attention to detail · Strong presentation skills, both visual and verbal Please forward resume with portfolio and references.
