As a premier full-service landscape architecture and construction firm based in Healdsburg, we are expanding our impact. We are seeking an ambitious, visionary Landscape Designer to take ownership of our design division—spearheading innovation, elevating artistic standards, and driving growth across high-end, large-scale residential projects. This is an in-person, on-site position based in Healdsburg, CA. All work is performed on-site daily — this is not a remote or hybrid role. What you'll do Own and scale the growth of Geared for Growing's dedicated design arm, establishing best-in-class design standardsLead high-end, large-scale residential landscape projects from initial concept through detailed executionPartner directly with discerning clients to translate complex visions into inspiring master plans, planting schemes, and structural layoutsLeverage cutting-edge design software and modern technology solutions to maximize workflow efficiency, precision, and presentation qualityCurate bespoke plant materials, hardscapes, and lighting suited to Sonoma County's microclimates and luxury livingCollaborate closely with build leads, estimators, and field crews to ensure seamless design implementation and flawless craftsmanship What we're looking for 5+ years of landscape design experience, with a focus or strong interest in high-end, large-scale residential developmentsA proven track record of producing best-in-class work and a passion for architectural excellenceThrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining high attention to detailEagerness to adopt and leverage technology (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Vectorworks, 3D rendering tools, etc.) to enhance quality and efficiencyStrong foundation in horticulture, site grading, drainage, and hardscape constructionDegree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Horticulture, or equivalent high-level practical experienceExceptional portfolio showcasing residential design leadership and visual presentation skills Details Location: Healdsburg / Sonoma County, CAEmployment type: full timeBenefits: Health, vision, and dental covered by the company
