We are a large residential/light commercial design build company seeking an Estimator/Designer. This position is for projects in New Haven and Fairfield Counties. This position offers a great work environment with the opportunity to increase compensation. Position responsibilities include: · Direct interface with prospective clients, in order to design & draw computer customized plans, then develop priced scopes of work for residential renovation projects including but not limited to additions, kitchens, decks and bathrooms. · The knowledge/ability to learn Chief Architect design software · In-depth knowledge of all phases of construction · Ordering kitchen cabinets & other special-order building materials · A commitment to the highest level of customer service · Attention to details · A collaborative approach to his/her work · Possess a positive “can-do” attitude & the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time Benefits offered include: · Salary, plus commission · Health Insurance · Company-Provided Life Insurance · Simple IRA · Paid Holidays · Paid Vacation · Office provided by company Job Type: Full-time and part time positions are available.
