Kitchen and Bath Designer Job Summary Busy custom home construction and remodeling design center is looking for an experienced kitchen and bath designer specializing in sales of cabinets, countertops, tile and more. Our ideal candidate knows the intricacies of kitchen and bath design. Product knowledge of various materials and interior finishes is also preferred. This is a salary-plus-commission position with earning potential of approximately $60,000. Kitchen and Bath Designer Duties and Responsibilities In-home and in-showroom customer consultationsConduct in-home measurements with prospective clients to assess their wants/needs.Collaborate with clients and use design software to create kitchen, bath and closet designsHelp clients choose various interior finish materialsConvert project proposals to contractsManage the ordering process for all project materialsWork closely with contractors and tradespeopleUpdate clients regarding any plan changes or delaysTrack current and potential salesAttend builder industry networking eventsKitchen and Bath Designer Requirements and Qualifications At least 5 years of kitchen and bath design experienceStrong design skillsProficiency in using 20-20 DesignLive or similar softwareA portfolio of past workExcellent communication and listening skillsClient-friendly and outcome-orientated selling and closing skillsMotivated self-starterPositive and energetic attitudeStrong attention to detailKnowledge of basic math and measurement skillsAbility to read and understand blueprints and architectural drawingsImpeccable organization, multi-tasking and prioritization skillsJob Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offWork Location: In person
