Job description Role Description We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with customers to understand their requirements, provide expert advice, and ensure a seamless design process from concept to completion. A strong emphasis on customer service and sales skills is essential to succeed in this position. Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to assess their kitchen design needs and preferences. Create innovative layout designs that optimize space and functionality. Utilize design software such as ProKitchen or 2020 to produce detailed kitchen floor plans, elevations and renderings. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the design process, addressing any questions or concerns. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organization and attention to detail. Assist in cash handling and operate cash registers during client transactions. Implement upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Maintain knowledge of retail math to accurately price products and services. Engage in outside sales activities, building relationships with potential clients. Conduct account management tasks to ensure client satisfaction pos installation. Requirements Proven experience in kitchen design or a related field is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships. Proficiency in layout design software and tools like ProKitchen or 2020 Design Live Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math principles. Ability to upsell products and services effectively. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A passion for interior design, particularly in kitchen spaces, is highly desirable.
