We blend thoughtful design with seamless execution to deliver exceptional, functional spaces that reflect our clients’ vision and lifestyle. ________________________________________ Position Summary We are seeking a passionate and experienced Kitchen and Bath Designer to join our collaborative team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and who enjoys taking ownership of projects from concept through completion. As a Designer, you will play a critical role in generating new projects, managing lead inquiries, directing client consultations, developing design concepts, and collaborating with contractors and design professionals to ensure successful project outcomes. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Lead Management & Sales o Identify and manage leads, perform timely follow-ups, and convert prospects into projects o Conduct initial client consultations and develop compelling proposals, contracts and budgets o Effectively communicate value and guide clients through the sales and design process • Client Interaction & Consultations o Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the design and remodel process o Understand and translate client needs and desires into actionable designs o Present and refine concepts and project pricing based on client feedback • Design Development & Documentation o Develop innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs for kitchens, bathrooms, and interiors o Produce concept drawings, space plans, elevations, and renderings o Create and manage construction documentation using Chief Architect design platform • Team Collaboration o Coordinate closely with contractors, vendors, and the internal design team o Ensure feasibility, constructability, and alignment with design vision and budget o Oversee design implementation to ensure accuracy and quality ________________________________________ Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Interior Design, or related field • Minimum of 3 years of experience within a design-build environment • Strong understanding of kitchen and bathroom design standards, cabinetry, and interior detailing • Proficient in Chief Architect, AutoCAD, and/or other design software • Exceptional communication and presentation skills • Strong sales acumen with a persuasive, client-centered approach • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines • Highly creative, detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative ________________________________________ What We Offer • Competitive base salary + commission/bonus structure • Paid Vacation • Health Insurance • 401 K • Opportunities for growth and leadership within a growing firm • Creative, supportive, and dynamic team culture • Work on impactful, custom residential projects ________________________________________ To Apply: Please submit your resume, portfolio, and a brief cover letter outlining your interest and experience to kutzman@designstudiowest.com
