See some of our recent projects and learn more about us at: https://kingstonbuilders.com/ Summary Of Responsibilities As an Interior Designer at Kingston Design Remodeling, you will play a key role in both the creative and logistical sides of residential design projects from start to finish. You’ll manage multiple phases—consultation, design, purchasing, and production—while cultivating strong relationships with clients, vendors, and the internal team. Typically, you will manage 2–3 active projects per month, with responsibilities ranging from client consultations and concept development to product ordering and construction support. Essential Functions Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, needs, and style preferences. Develop creative, functional, and detailed design solutions—including layouts, elevations, and material selections Lead or participate in initial consultations and assist in estimating and closing new design projects. Manage active residential design projects, guiding them through all phases from concept to construction handoff. Coordinate and place orders for cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, and other materials. Prepare accurate and clear design documentation for internal teams and construction crews. Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with clients, vendors, and the internal production team. Provide continued design support during the construction phase to ensure alignment and client satisfaction. Attend vendor events, partnership meetups, and participate in ongoing continuing education as part of professional development. Education, Experience, And Skills Required 3 years of experience in residential interior design, specifically with kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and whole-house remodeling Proficiency in 2020 Design, Chief Architect, Canva, project management systems like Builder Trend and Google Suite.
