Founder, Melissa Gierhahn, brings over 20 years of property improvement, design, and business development experience combined. We work on a range of both residential and commercial projects, from design consultations to whole home remodels and new build/spec homes/construction projects. As a newly established business, we have a rapidly growing portfolio of client projects and are looking to grow our team by adding talented part time/contract support to help us as we work to establish, document, and streamline/optimize our processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in design, be self-motivated, and be able to work independently. The candidate will work closely with company founder Melissa Gierhahn, supporting design, business process development and execution, project coordination and oversight, and client deliverables. Small family/boutique style. We are seeking a talented Junior Designer to join our team with a flexible schedule that includes both remote and in-person work in Mesa. The ideal candidate will be proficient or expert in CAD/Revit and/or SketchUp, with a friendly working knowledge of Canva, Google Sheets, and Excel. Experience in project management and on-site work for residential and commercial projects is a plus. Videography/photography and social skillz a plus. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the design team to create innovative and functional design solutions - Utilize CAD/Revit and/or SketchUp to develop detailed drawings and 3D models - Assist in project management tasks, including coordinating with clients, contractors, and vendors and establishing amazing relationships representing the Brand. - Provide on-site support as needed for both residential and commercial projects - Maintain organized project files and documentation - Contribute to design presentations and client meetings -put together schedules and spec books -Organize sample room/office/warehouse -pick up samples -update project tracker/order tracker -set up local events and lunch and learns with reps -help with office organization/sample room cataloging/warehousing cataloging or organizing -renders like it's your superpower!! Responsibilities: The perfect candidate will take on a supportive role, proactively identifying and supporting business process opportunities and working with various partners/trades to assist in the delivery and execution of all phases of a project from design development to installation. This individual will deal with the full range of design from layout and concept development, to execution of design, and will have a focus on overseeing active client projects to manage deliverables and ensure on track through all phases of the process to execution, balancing optimization of efficiency and delivering on a stellar client experience. At this time, this position is part-time/contract role, (between 10 to 30 hours/week). Responsibilities include: • Support design projects from concept to completion • Track and manage project progress, overseeing execution and coordinating with general contractors and trades. Qualifications: • Ability to work both in-person and remotely, engaging in face-to-face client interactions.
