Junior-Intermediate Designer – Interiors and Product Design

Position Overview: We are looking for a creative and motivated Junior-Intermediate Designer to join our team at Colin King Studio. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for design and a keen eye for detail. This entry-level role provides an opportunity to work closely with our senior team members and assist in creating beautiful and functional interior and product designs. The Junior-Intermediate Designer will have the chance to develop their skills and grow within a dynamic, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the conceptualization and design of high-end residential and commercial interior design projects. Support the design of bespoke furniture, fixtures, and accessories that align with the studio’s aesthetic and brand vision. Collaborate with the design team to create mood boards, sketches, 3D renderings, and technical drawings for design presentations. Source and organize materials, furniture, lighting, and finishes in accordance with the design vision. Participate in client meetings and contribute ideas to design discussions and project planning. Assist in creating and updating project schedules, timelines, and budgets to ensure smooth project execution. Support the team with administrative tasks, project documentation, and design research. Stay current on design trends, materials, and new product innovations to bring fresh ideas to the studio’s work.
