Junior Interior Designer (Full or Part Time) Location: Park City, UT Start Date: ASAP About Us: We are a boutique residential interior and home design firm specializing in high-end custom homes. We work in a highly creative, collaborative environment where efficiency, taste, and problem-solving matter. We’re looking for a Junior Interior Designer to support ongoing and upcoming projects with finish selections, space planning, procurement, vendor communication, drafting and general design support. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, efficient, tech-savvy, and passionate about great design. Responsibilities: Assist with interior finish and material selections (tile, paint, lighting, flooring, furniture, cabinetry, hardware). Produce and update CAD drawings, elevations, renderings, and design documentation. Create presentations, mood boards, and spec sheets. Support procurement: sourcing items, gathering quotes, creating purchase orders, and tracking deliveries. Coordinate with vendors, trades, and fabricators as needed. Conduct site visits, take measurements, and update field notes. Help maintain project organization—samples, project bins, digital folders, and spec libraries. Light administrative support related to design tasks (updating spreadsheets, client binders, project timelines). Qualifications: 3+ years of interior design experience preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Google Workspace. Knowledge of residential construction basics and finishes Strong eye for design, color, materials, and scale. Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Must be based in Utah or able to commute to Park City/SLC for site visits. Hours & Compensation: 20 - 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling. Hybrid work model (some in-office/site time required). Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
