Junior Interior Designer

Junior Interior Designer We are a luxury residential Design/Build firm specializing in new custom home construction and remodeling. We are looking for a full-time Junior Interior Designer to work under the supervision of our Interior Design Director. We desire a team player, with an enthusiastic attitude to be an integral part of our Interior Design team to assist our clients in envisioning and creating their unique spaces. Job tasks include but are not limited to: • Assist in design concepts, ideas and execution • Assist in client selections • Drafting floor plan and elevation drawings to incorporate design and technical specifications • Creating specification documents for field execution • Cabinetry design and ordering • Preparing material take-offs and estimating • Procurement of samples for clients • Assist with managing library samples • Other design tasks as determined and assigned Job Requirements: • College degree or Course work in Interior Design • Minimum of 2 yrs. of design experience • Proficient in CAD software (Chief Architect *preferred, AutoCad, 2020 Design or other equivalents) • Microsoft Office experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Verbal, written, communication and problem solving skills • Self-managed, self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team • Ability to understand and follow directions, meet deadlines and follow through • Organized and have attention to detail, a sense of urgency and multi-task • Energetic, enthusiastic and a positive attitude Company DescriptionLuxury residential Design/Build firm specializing in new custom home construction and remodeling.
