Junior Interior Designer

Hayley Bridget Interiors, a small design firm specializing in high-end residential, is seeking a detail oriented and technically skilled junior interior designer with a minimum of two years’ experience. The junior designer will be responsible for assisting seniors on projects from the concept phase through install. This is a position where candidates will learn a lot and take on a considerable amount of responsibility. This is a full-time position based in Brooklyn, NY. • Assist with site measurements and inputting existing conditions into CAD • Construction documents and millwork drawings • Assist with preparation for meetings with clients: Fabric, furniture, and material sourcing, create scheme sheets, render elevations in photoshop, create meeting agendas, plots plans • Maintain project budgets, tracking sheets, and schedules • Request quotes from vendors. Including plumbing, appliance, fabric, furniture, and materials. • Maintain and organize project material library and project folders • Assist bookkeeper with creating proposal and invoice sets for clients
