Junior Interior Designer

Junior Interior Designer John T. Campo & Associates, Inc. (Campo Architects) is an award-winning architecture and interior design firm located in New Orleans, which specializes in hospitality, historic renovation, and adaptive re-use projects. Campo Architects has an immediate need for a Junior Interior Designer to join their Interior Design team. We are looking for a motivated and organized team player who is ready to take on multiple responsibilities, with opportunities for training and career advancement. JOB RESPONSIBILITES: • Work with collaborative Project Team to develop design narratives and concept presentation materials. • Prepare design drawings including floor plans, interior elevations, and details, under supervision of a Project Manager. • Select and specify furniture, upholstery, millwork, lighting, and interior finishes. • Produce and manage FF&E budgets and estimates. • Produce FF&E specifications. • Coordinate with procurement agent and vendors. • Review and approve shop drawings and material sample submittals. • Maintenance & organization of material library. • Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors. QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum 2 to 3 years of professional experience in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. • Experience in hospitality is a plus. • Familiarity with building codes and regulations, including ADA and IBC. • Proficiency in Revit required. • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate within a project team. • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
