Junior Interior Designer, FF&E

Kelly Wearstler is looking for a Junior Interior Designer, FF&E with experience in private residential projects, luxury hospitality, and restaurants to join our team. The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated and meticulous individual who is collaborative, and can contribute to ongoing projects. DUTIES • Collaborate and interface seamlessly with the designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers on multiple projects • Responsible for supporting the process on material sourcing and specification, custom furniture design, visual research, mood board creation, furniture sourcing, graphic and visual presentations, while adhering to fast-paced project timelines DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE • 1-4 years of experience in interiors or architecture and a degree from an accredited school • Passion for design and an eye for detail • Excellent 2D drawing and rendering ability • Working knowledge of the full design process including Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction Administration, Procurement, and Installation • Proficiency in AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Rhino, and Microsoft Office Suite • 3D modeling and realistic rendering skills would be a plus • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to adapt to the daily needs of the design team This position is based full-time in Los Angeles.
