Junior Interior Designer

Job Description: The primary purpose of this role is to support one of the business partners on projects, provide project documentation, and learn to run small projects. Additional roles are to organize the resource library and perform errands and tasks as needed. We will provide training to the right candidate. • Provide project based design support to Interior Designers • Order samples, and prepare budgets • Learn to prepare proposals and purchase orders at the direction of Designers. • Track orders and schedules, and assist with delivery/installation • Filing & maintaining client directories, notebooks, and files on office network per office standards • CAD Drafting on AutoCad LT • Oversee small jobs with support • Assistance with marketing and social media Position Requirements: • Interior Design degree from CIDA accredited school • 0-2 years Design or Design related experience • Proficiency in AutoCad or AutoCadLT • Knowledge and ability to do furniture layouts and proportions • Team player who wants to work in an open, collaborative and fast-paced environment • Excellent communication skills • Ability to move to the Roaring Fork Valley We Offer: • A commitment to work/life balance • Opportunities for learning and advancement • Excellent on the job training • A supportive and collaborative team environment • Bright and comfortable office surroundings • Opportunities for advancement • Extensive resource library • Benefit package includes: Health insurance 401K plan – 3% match Profit sharing plan 1 day/week ski pass Convenient location with parking Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Health insurance • Paid time off Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday Ability to Relocate: • Aspen, CO: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
