About this role

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our team. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet the needs and preferences of our clients in the residential and commercial sectors. From concept development to project completion, you will play a crucial role in transforming spaces into... beautiful and functional environments. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, requirements, and budget constraints - Develop design concepts and present them to principal designer for approval - Create detailed drawings, renderings, and specifications for construction and installation purposes - Source furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes that align with the design concept and client's budget - Coordinate with colleagues, contractors, and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution - Oversee the implementation of design plans, including site visits and inspections - Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure successful completion - Stay updated on the latest trends, materials, and technologies in interior design Skills: - Bachelors degree in Interior Design with a minimum of 1-2 years work experience in the field - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, MS Office Suite, (2020/ProKitchen a big plus) - Must be comfortable drafting details and elevations for millwork built-ins, etc. - Must be comfortable with space planning, as well as reading/drafting Finish Plans, RCPs, Lighting Plans, creating specifications, etc. - Experience in commercial design a plus - Must be motivated, be able to take initiative and be willing to work on projects alone, while keeping deadlines and remaining in good communication with clients and senior designer in order to see the task/project through to completion If you are a talented Interior Designer with a passion for creating stunning, well-functioning spaces, we would love to hear from you.
