The ideal candidate has a strong design initiative and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. The candidate is approachable, has a positive attitude, and is able to adopt quickly under pressure. • Strong conceptual design skills • Able to manage multiple projects and prioritize project workload and or time sensitive tasks • Great attention to detail with accuracy • Assists and/or selects finishes for various projects • Ability to communicate design ideas and take direction quickly. • Proficient in furniture layout, color, lighting, material selection, custom furniture and installations • Experience in creating presentation boards in Photoshop/InDesign • Proficient in writing interior FF&E specifications • Experience in submittal review • Excellent in team collaboration and communication skills • Creative talent, an imagination and eye for design • Follows and stays on schedule with assigned tasks. • Ability to communicate with both internal and external clients. • Helps maintains the materials library. • Proficient in AutoCAD • Knowledge of Revit • Research and decide on materials and products sourcing • Undertake design project (concept to completion) • Work closely with designers, architects, lighting designers, manufacturers and vendors • Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practices • *Required Experience** • This candidate should have a minimum of 2+ years of experience. • Entertainment and hospitality design is a plus. • Has initiative, great attention to details and follow-through. • *Education** • Bachelors degree in Interior Design. • Working towards License
