Junior Interior Designer:
Linda Hoffman Interiors is looking for a Junior Interior Designer to help us coordinate the design, production and execution of our projects, and gain exposure to all aspects of the design process. This is a highly collaborative team-player role that requires exceptional attention to detail and interpersonal skills; a bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior architecture; proficiency in design software; 3 years minimum work experience in an interior design studio.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the CEO to anticipate needs and provide added value to projects and tasks
• Obtain quotes from vendors and track client orders
• Schedule and oversee deliveries
• Measure existing conditions
• Help with installations and styling
• Assist in preparation of mood boards and client presentations
• Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, workrooms and receiving warehouses
• Scale furniture and lighting in plans and experience with rendered elevations
• Maintain organization of fabric library
• Gather and return product samples
• Other responsibilities as are typical for an Junior Interior Designer
Key Skills Required:
• A degree in Interior Design or a related field
• 3 years minimum of previous experience in an interior design role or a similar field required.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite)
• Exceptional communication skills and professional demeanor.
• A keen eye for design, color, and detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Flexibility to travel to client sites and design centers as needed.
• Excellent project management skills to ensure timely completion of projects·
• Experience with Design Manager and ability to make 2D/3D designs is desired
