Role Description: • Assist Lead Designer with the following: • Prepare, coordinate and submit product selections for vendor estimates • Document client relationship activities in Buildertrend project management software, Gather project management software, or in Google Drive, according to project • Prepare construction contracts, addendums and sample forms • Proactively participate in ideation, research, presentation development, and documentation • Support and/or lead design and documentation efforts on projects of various scales • Support and/or lead the development and implementation of design concepts, finish palettes, and furniture selections • Produce design and construction documents and coordinate specifications with guidance • Assist in the construction administration process including attending meetings, site visits, submittal review, and documentation • Present and communicate design ideas and solutions to clients • Assign and delegate tasks to interns as necessary • Fulfill duties as requested by Lead Designer and Principal Qualifications: • A self-starter with a strong work ethic and strong interpersonal skills is required for success in this position • Bachelor’s degree in interior design required • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings is required • Experience with space planning is required • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required • Strong organizational and time-management skills are required • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • 1 year of experience preferred • Proficiency in Sketchup and Photoshop is preferred • Experience with project management software is a plus Benefits: • Pay range is $44K - $48K commensurate with experience • Simple IRA with 3% employer match • Vacation time • Paid time off • “Early days” every other Wednesday closing at 4pm • Mileage reimbursement Schedule: • 8-hour shift, 40 hours per week minimum expectation • Monday-Friday • 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Job Type: Full-time Pay: $44,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Employee discount • Happy hour • Paid time off Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday Application Question(s): • Are you proficient in AutoCAD?
