Junior Interior Designer

Position Overview Boutique, high-end residential interior design firm is seeking a full-time, driven junior designer to assist in all phases of projects. The candidate must be a strategic thinker who pays meticulous attention to detail and is able to prioritize. The position is full-time in person in our New York City office. Responsibilities • Reflect LHS’s design vision throughout all work • Support project managers, designers, and principal on décor projects from schematic design through installation • Source fabric, furniture, lighting, hardware, rugs, and accessories (custom, in stock, and vintage) • Put together client presentations • Draft plans and elevations in AutoCAD • Create proposals in Design Manager • Purchase for projects and maintain thorough records of funds • Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, and receiving houses throughout the entire project to ensure timely install.
