Junior Interior Designer

We're looking for a Design Assistant/Junior Interior Designer who thrives in a team environment and is eager to contribute, learn, and grow. About the Role: This is a hands-on, collaborative role where you’ll work side by side with Senior Designers, contributing to every phase of the design process. From concept development to construction administration, your input and coordination will be vital to the success of each project. If you're a creative thinker who enjoys working closely with others to bring ideas to life, this could be the perfect fit. Responsibilities: • Collaborate closely with Principal and Senior Designers on all aspects of design • Contribute to team brainstorming, materials sourcing, and presentation development • Create detailed construction documents and plans in AutoCAD • Attend team meetings, site visits, and client presentations • Support project budgeting, scheduling, and vendor communication • Communicate effectively and respectfully within a team setting What We’re Looking For: • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design (required) • At least 2 years of experience at an interior design firm • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (required) • Familiarity with FileMaker and QuickBooks is a plus • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to contribute to team success • Positive, proactive attitude and a passion for collaborative work Hourly Rate: Compensation will be based on experience. Competitive hourly wage offered.
