About this role
(Full-time – 32 to 40 hrs/week) Skip the Commute! Work in historical Concord,
MA – right off of Route 2 near I95 in a light-filled office surrounded by
conservation land plus plenty of free parking. Please submit a detailed cover

position. MoharDesign, an award-winning Design Studio, is seeking to hire a
Junior level Interior designer with 1-3 solid years of professional experience
with an interior design or architecture firm working on commercial,
institutional, and/or corporate projects. Project types are typically higher
education, K-12, and corporations working in collaboration with renowned
architectural firms. Many projects are large, ranging from 50,000 to several
hundred thousand square feet. Our current and upcoming projects include UMass
Amherst, University of Delaware, Yale University, College of William & Mary,
Diman High School, Crocker Elementary School, and several SUNY projects for
the state of New York. Will be assigned as project manager of several projects
under the guidance of senior designers to be the main facilitator of project
activities. Will take the initiative on project correspondence, client
contact, and meetings. Will be the gatekeeper & filer of project
correspondence, documents and drawings, and schedules. Will take the
initiative in all aspects of the projects, including design and management.
Involved with developing interiors concepts, details & palettes. Research &
develop materials & finishes palettes to support design; research & select
furniture and prepare coordinating furniture layouts & floor patterns.
Assemble presentation boards; research products; prepare furniture
specifications & finishes specifications. A deep understanding of
professionalism, including sophisticated written and verbal communication &
engagement with clients. Execute development of design & working drawings.
Must have knowledge of contract FF&E; manufacturers and dealers and ability to
research appropriate FF&E; per project criteria & budget. Must have knowledge
of Finishes and Materials for use in large, public institutions. Required
Software Skills: • Strong AutoCAD • Revit (or willing and able to learn
quickly) • Sketchup (or willing and able to learn quickly) • MS Office: Word,
Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Desired Software Skills: • Photoshop • InDesign •
