JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGN TECHNICIAN

We are looking for talented and dedicated Junior Interior Design Technician interested in a diversity of project types. Responsibilities and Qualifications: Responsibilities: • Collaborate and coordinate with team members, designers, architects to create interior spaces, knowledgeable on details and construction documents • Have a portfolio demonstrating design concepts and coordination of architectural elements, color, finish materials, and FF&E • Develop 3D conceptual models and rendering to communicate design intent • Communicate with manufacturing companies and vendors on furniture, finishes, fabric, and lighting • Communicate with clients and take notes during meetings • Maintain resource library and project binders, very well organized • Contribute content for our social media, website, and advertising • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, convey ideas easily and quickly, both verbally and visually • Work efficiently, effectively, able to handle multiple projects and meet project deadline • A collaborator, eager to learn and improve own skills and expertise Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year CIDA accredited interior design or architectural school • Experience (3-5 years working with commercial projects, including some, retail, office, hospitality, restaurants) • Have advanced skills in CAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Bluebeam, Photoshop, MS Office • Working toward NCIDQ Certification is not required, but a plus Company DescriptionJZ interior Design is a small energetic company with a lot to offer.
