About this role

JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER OVERVIEW... Work alongside the CEO/Principal Designer and the Design Team through the duration of the design phase and assist in managing projects from conception to completion. From detailing design concepts to organizing finish schedules and ensuring the feasibility of designs, your job is to execute the design deliverables for the projects you are assigned. Ideally, you are interested in growing within the design team at Emmy Couture Designs. REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS · 3-5 Years of luxury design experience · Auto CAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, PowerPoint experience is required · MyDoma experience is a plus · Professional attitude · Professional attire · Aesthetic match to Emmy Couture Design’s portfolio · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: 8:30-4:30 M-F in AZ office · Excellent verbal and written communication · Attention to detail · Ability to stay organized and self -motivated · True team player – reliable and dependable · Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks and adjust accordingly · Strong work ethic and “can do” attitude · Ability to be flexible with work hours – some days starting early, some days starting late · Assist Principal Designer with daily tasks, as needed · Assist with on-site measurements for new client · projects when there is no architect · Specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment creating and maintaining detailed finish schedules · Communicate with builders and architects to verify design details, measurements, etc · Order, pickup, and organize samples ahead of client meetings · Visit project sites throughout the project to verify design details as needed · Assist in the installation of projects, including on-site assistance with furniture layout. Artwork placements, and styling · Research new materials in the industry to incorporate into new designs · Prepare design visuals, drawings, and architectural plans for client meetings · Take notes during design meetings · Communicate with sub-contractors on-site to ensure the design is executed correctly · Must have dependable transportation to drive to and from job sites or vendors, and run errands as needed to client’s homes or pick up materials for projects from vendors · Organize samples in the sample library · Prep decor and supplies for Install Day · Assist with creating company processes to support company growth · Must love dogs and kids since CEO/Principal Designer brings them to work CORE VALUES C - Classic O - Outgoing U - Unique T - Timeless U - Unity R - Reliable E - Exclusive If you are a creative individual with a passion for design and a desire to learn and grow, we encourage you to apply.
