Junior Designer

TOBE DesignGroup, LLC is a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary interior architecture and design studio located in downtown Bethesda, Maryland. Our areas of practice include mid to high-end residential, multi-family residential , commercial and retail. We are looking for a full-time junior designer to join our growing firm that can hit the ground running... Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: · Space planning and architectural detailing · FF&E selections and specifications · Lighting design and specification · Client presentations · Coordination with multiple disciplines, including base building architects, MEP Engineers and on-site construction personnel · Coordinating and attending vendor presentations · Drafting construction documents · Millwork design and detailing · Procurement · Maintain resource library · Marketing/Social Media Qualifications · 1-2 years of experience · 4 year design degree from an accredited institution preferred · Read and interpret construction and interior design documents · Background in interior design, architecture and FF&E selection · Strong organizational and project management and skills · Exceptional written and verbal communication skills · Strong presentation skills · Knowledge of Apple and Microsoft Office · Proficient in AutoCAD · Proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, and other rendering programs · Excellent project management skills · A car is required as many of our clients and vendors are not metro accessible Benefits • A fun and dynamic work environment • Paid vacation and sick leave • Paid parking • 401k plan with matching Please submit a cover letter, resume and work examples, desired start date and salary request to Todd Howard Ezrin, NCIDQ, via email at todd@tobedesigngroup.com.
