Our team works collaboratively with the client, architects and builders to run projects large and small on time and on budget. THE ROLE The Junior Designer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of all design projects from ideation through installation. The right candidate must be technically proficient, detail oriented, and have a minimum of three years interior design experience. The Junior Designer will be expected to assist the Senior Designers with design development, sourcing, client presentations, and technical drawings. The ability to self-manage and demonstrate a high level of professional maturity is a key component of this position. WHAT YOU’LL DO • Be comfortable working across a range of multiple projects at any one time • Develop full design concepts for projects based on Principal and Senior's design vision • Prepare client presentations with concept imagery, selections, and drawings • Ability to convey ideas graphically • Develop and maintain good relationships with vendors and external subs • Respond to client questions and concerns in a timely, informative manner • Research new products and materials • Maintain design project organization and tasking through project management software and meeting minutes WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR • Degree in interior design, design school or equivalent experience • Minimum 3 years professional Interior Design experience • Quotes, proposals, budgets, purchase orders and purchasing process • Selecting and specifying lighting, furnishings, hardware, floor/window coverings, materials and finishes • Strong design portfolio • Proficient in AutoCAD required; Revit or other CAD software a plus • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and SketchUp are preferred • Ability to work on Mac and PC iOS • Excellent attention to detail and highly organized • Ability to coordinate and assist in installations • Good communicator, confident dealing with a wide range of team members • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong work ethic, goal oriented and extremely efficient • Able to work independently and as part of a team COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday in office • Pay range: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year (hourly, non-exempt) • Generous personal time off policy including seven (7) company paid holidays, 10 paid vacation days and paid sick leave • Ability to commute/relocate • Employer provided health insurance benefits • 401k offering • Monthly technology reimbursement
