Responsibilities: We are Growing!!! Five Star Interiors, a Nationally recognized Interior Design Firm specializing in Model Home Merchandising, is looking for new, amazing talent to join our team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about design, detail-oriented and creative with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Applicant must possess the following skills: Accessorizing and Styling of model home decor, excellent organization, time management, Knowledge of construction processes and Interior Specifications/Interior Architectural Details, problem solving, strategic-thinking, ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an active studio environment, ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines. This position will require large quite a bit of travel at high peak times throughout Texas and out of State for installations. This position will never be boring! you will be involved in the following: - Assist model home installations with the install crew. - Assist in local shopping accessories on-site at installs. - Assist in placing merchandise orders (knowledge of QuickBooks is helpful but not mandatory) - Assist senior interior designers in creating and implementing design concepts for various projects - collaborate with the presentation department on detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations using software such as Adobe and AutoCAD - Stay updated on industry trends and new design techniques Requirements: - Willingness and availability for travel at times. - Strong desire to learn and listen to company design techniques and style - Bachelor's degree in Interior Design - Strong knowledge of interior design principles, color theory, and space planning - Proficiency in software such as Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD preferred / willing to train - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Job Type: Full-time Pay: $48,707.60 - $58,658.61 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday Ability to Relocate: • Austin, TX 78736: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
