The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about design, detail-oriented and creative with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Applicant must possess the following skills: excellent organization, time management, Knowledge of construction processes and Interior Specifications/Interior Architectural Details, problem solving, strategic-thinking, ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an active studio environment, ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines. This position will require large amounts of travel at high peak times throughout the state of Texas.
- Assist/start model home installations with the install crew.
- Assist in local shopping accessories on-site at installs.
- Assist in placing orders at the office (knowledge of QuickBooks is helpful but not mandatory)
- Assist senior interior designers in creating and implementing design concepts for various projects
- collaborate with the presentation department on detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations using software such as Adobe and AutoCAD
- Stay updated on industry trends and new design techniques
Requirements:
- Willingness and availability for heavy amounts of travel at times.
- Strong desire to learn and listen to company design techniques and style
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
- Strong knowledge of interior design principles, color theory, and space planning
- Proficiency in software such as Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD preferred / willing to train
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,707.60 - $58,658.61 per year
