Jr. Designer, FF&E

LOS ANGELES, CA Kelly Wearstler is looking for a Junior Interior Designer with experience in luxury hotels, restaurants and high-end residential projects to join our team, and can contribute to ongoing projects to join our team. The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated and meticulous individual who is collaborative, and can contribute to ongoing projects. DUTIES •This person should be able to collaborate seamlessly with the designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers on multiple projects. •Responsible for supporting the process on material sourcing and specifications, custom furniture design, visual research, mood board creation, furniture sourcing, graphic and visual presentations, while adhering to fast-paced project timelines DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE •1-4 years of experience in interiors or architecture and a degree from an accredited school. •Passion for design and an eye for detail. •Excellent 2D drawing and rendering ability. •Working knowledge of the full design process including Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction Administration, Procurement, and Installation. •Proficiency in AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), SketchUp, and Microsoft Office Suite. •3D modeling and realistic rendering skills would be a plus. •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to adapt to the daily needs of the design team.
