The firm designs and manages large scale luxury hospitality and high-end multifamily residential projects throughout North America and Europe. We are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of interior design, especially in the realm of hospitality and cruise ship design. We are seeking an accomplished Interior Designer or Interior Architect (7-10 years of experience) with a strong creative vision and a passion for shaping memorable hospitality experiences. The ideal candidate brings both aesthetic sophistication and technical precision, leading design teams through every phase of the creative process—from concept to realization. Qualifications & Core Skills • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in high-end hospitality design, with a proven record of creative leadership within interior design and/or architectural firms • Exceptional conceptual and design development skills, with the ability to provide visionary direction and constructive critique to elevate teamwork • Keen eye for detail, composition, color, and materials, with a deep understanding of how spatial storytelling enhances the guest experience • Experience guiding junior designers, fostering creativity, growth, and design excellence across all phases of a project • Strong communication and presentation abilities, serving as a confident liaison between clients, consultants, and project teams • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining long-term client relationships, grounded in trust, collaboration, and design innovation • Proactive leadership mindset with the ability to balance creativity, budgets, and timelines to achieve exceptional results • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, PowerPoint, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite Key Responsibilities • Champion Design Creativity: Lead the creative vision across multiple projects, shaping innovative and cohesive design narratives from concept through installation. • Drive Conceptual Development: Develop and communicate compelling design concepts, presentations, and storytelling strategies that express the project’s brand and guest experience. • Provide Design Direction: Guide the interior design team through Concept and Design Development, ensuring a strong, consistent design language and seamless coordination with architectural partners through Construction Documentation and Administration. • Expert Resource Knowledge: Demonstrate an exceptional command of FF&E and materials (domestic and European). This is a critical skill and will be a focal point of the interview process. • Curate Global Resources: Leverage an extensive network of domestic and international suppliers, artisans, and manufacturers to source distinctive and innovative products that enhance the design intent. • Ensure Quality Control: Oversee specifications, furniture budgets, and all interior finish documentation to ensure quality, accuracy, and design integrity throughout the project lifecycle. • Manage Design Deliverables: Organize project timelines, staffing, and design output to meet milestones and maintain creative momentum within budgetary constraints. • Client and Presentation Leadership: Confidently present design concepts and lead discussions with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, embodying the firm’s creative voice and design philosophy.
