You’ll have the opportunity to work on an array of residential projects and be
part of a young + growing company. We are seeking a driven designer who is
passionate about design and a self-starter who is flexible to work on a
variety of projects. ‘Catch Architecture’, is an award-winning practice
focusing primarily on residential design, balanced with interior design and
light commercial. Our design process is inclusive and fun, an easy back and
forth. We take the time to get the heart of each project, letting curiosity
and spark and ideas bounce, and digging into the details of the design. We
listen closely, translate clearly, and deliver expertly. We are client-driven
in the design process and are dedicated to excellence. QUALIFICATIONS: •
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture • 3-5 years of relevant
architecture experience. • Knowledge of design and permitting of custom
single-family residential • Excellent communication, people skills, and
graphic ability • Revit proficiency preferred. You would be expected to learn
on the job quickly if you do not have this experience. • Proficiency with the
usual array of Adobe graphics software is preferred • Professional level of
diligence, and evidence that you understand the value of double-checking,
proofreading, asking questions, and otherwise paying attention to the job at
hand. • Candidates interested in completing their IDP hours are strongly
encouraged to apply. • Located or willingness to relocate to Paso Robles /
Central Coast. DUTIES: Successful candidates will work in collaboration with
project teams and under the supervision of the firm principal. You will be an
integral part of the production of architectural drawings from schematic
design through construction documents in order to convey ideas and concepts
with graphical and professional clarity. Candidates should be versatile in
listening to the design challenge and fluently translating that into several
design solutions, all while working efficiently under deadlines. Communication
is key, within the office, with clients, and consultants. BENEFITS: Sane
