Job Captain

As a Job Captain at Omni Design, you will play a pivotal role in our project design team, reporting directly to the project Architect. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of project management and design coordination. You will be tasked with overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to schedules, and collaborating closely with internal teams and external... stakeholders to deliver exceptional architectural solutions. Essential Functions: • Collaborate with the Project Manager to determine project requirements, review technical specifications, and propose solutions to clients. • Maintain project schedules and communicate effectively with the Project Manager regarding milestones and deadlines. • ·Assist in coordinating project design teams, participating in meetings to facilitate progress towards established milestones. • Develop project designs using computer-aided drafting software • Work closely with Project Architects to manage plans and oversee AutoCAD and Revit production work. • Coordinate with various disciplines including mechanical, structural, electrical, civil, and plumbing/fire protection, ensuring seamless integration of design elements. • Review shop drawings and vendor documents, participate in site verification and assist in the documentation of as-built conditions. • Take the lead in ensuring the completeness and accuracy of drawings and compliance with agency codes.
