We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented Intern for our Industrial/Transportation Designer, Interiors position. Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative and functional interior designs for commercial vehicles, buses, construction equipment, and marine and industrial engines. Research and analyze current industry trends and customer needs to inform design decisions. Utilize software and hand-sketching techniques to create sketches and renderings of interior designs. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve designs. Assist with the creation of 3D models and prototypes for testing and evaluation. Collaborate with engineers and product developers to ensure designs meet technical requirements and standards. Keep up-to-date with advancements in materials, technology, and manufacturing processes to incorporate into designs. Communicate and present design concepts and ideas to internal stakeholders and clients. Follow project timelines and meet deadlines for deliverables. Maintain organization of design files and documents. Attend team meetings and provide updates on project progress. Adhere to company policies and procedures. Continuously seek opportunities for growth and improvement within the role. Actively participate in training and development opportunities provided by the company.
