Intermediate / Senior Designer

Dina Bandman Interiors is looking for a professional, organized, and resourceful Intermediate or Sr. Designer, who has 3-5 years of residential design experience, and who is able thrive in a face-paced environment. As an Intermediate or Senior Designer, you will be expected to take the lead in the design process and to see projects to fruition, with the help of design assistants and the guidance of Principal Designer, Dina Bandman. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Create and edit accurate elevations and floor-plans in AutoCAD • Attend and/or direct Client & Construction meetings, vendor meetings, and oversee site installations • Design, order, and process bespoke furniture pieces • Coordinate with vendors through furniture procurement process • Create accurate client proposals in a timely manner • Work efficiently and with leadership in a small team environment, and have a positive work ethic • Source and select furniture, fabrics, trims, and finishes • Completes tasks with accuracy, proficiency, and attention to detail • Self-sufficiency and resourcefulness when completing tasks Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Design 3-5+ years of relevant experience • Proficiency in AutoCAD • Excellent leadership and communication skills • Experience with G Suite, Ivy, and Asana preferred • Time management skills and experience with time billing • Access to a vehicle is preferred The preferred candidate should be able to work from the office full-time. Flexibility is valued at DBI, and depending on the needs of the office schedules/meetings, some remote work is allowed.
