About Us: Broad Avenue Studios, Inc. is well known for our award-winning work in ultra-luxury residences, our growing commercial design practice and for project management services delivered by our team of designers with architectural qualifications and our project management staff. We have completed luxury residential projects in Naples, Florida (Port Royal, Old Naples, Aqualane Shores, Royal Harbor, Pelican Bay, Moraya Bay, Kalea Bay, Coquina Sands, Collier’s Reserve, Park Shore and Marco Island), Nantucket, Chicago, and Chevy Chase, Maryland. We are seeking talented and motivated Interior Designers with at least 3 years of experience (for the Intermediate Designer position) and 8 years of experience (for the Senior Designer position) in high-end residential and commercial design. Ideal candidates possess strong proficiency in CAD, deep understanding of FF&E procurement processes and the ability to manage projects with limited, if any, supervision. This role involves collaborating closely with our other senior design and procurement staff and direct involvement with clients to bring sophisticated design visions to life. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with the design team on all phases of projects, from concept development to FF&E installation. • Produce detailed drawings and documentation using AutoCAD. • Assist in the selection, specification, and procurement of FF&E, ensuring alignment with project budgets and timelines. • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to facilitate the procurement and delivery of furnishings and materials. • Prepare client presentations, including mood boards, material samples, and renderings. • Conduct site visits to oversee installations and ensure design intent is realized. Qualifications: • Degree in interior design or a related field. • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in residential or commercial interior design. • Must be proficient in AutoCAD and Studio Designer; helpful if you also know Revit, SketchUp and/or Adobe Creative Suite. • Knowledge of FF&E procurement, sourcing, budgeting, and vendor coordination. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects. • Experience in space planning and furniture layout • Knowledge of interior design software such as Studio Designer is a plus, but not essential. • Must be a US citizen. Preferred Qualifications: • Familiarity with Florida building codes and regulations. • NCIDQ certification or working towards certification.
