Will be the... gatekeeper & filer of project correspondence, documents and drawings, and schedules. Will take guided initiative in all aspects of the projects including design and management. Involved with developing interiors concepts, details and palettes. Research and develop materials and color palettes to support design; research & select furniture and prepare coordinating furniture layouts & floor patterns. Assemble presentation boards; research products; prepare furniture specifications and bid packages & finishes specifications. Execute development of design & working drawings. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Must have experience and understanding of the commercial interior design industry, ideally in education, corporate and science buildings. (Residential design experience is not relevant). Must have knowledge of contract Interior Finishes and FF&E manufacturers. Valuable to have knowledge about the FF&E industry specific to manufacturer reps, dealers and the bid process. Must have knowledge of Finishes and Materials for use in large, public institutions. Required Software Skills: Revit experience is a must. Should be Intermediate Level: Able to work with furniture and interior finishes in Revit. Basic to Strong AutoCad Sketchup - a Plus MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint - a Must Desired Software Skills: Photoshop InDesign Website Design Capabilities PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & CHARACTERISTICS This position is a Growth Role!
