INTERMEDIATE INTERIOR DESIGNER

Under the design direction of Studio 397 leadership, the intermediate shall work on the production of concept design, schematic design, and design development deliverables. The intermediate prepare conceptual drawings and renderings, consults manufacturers, evaluates finish materials and furniture and inspects architectural elements in the field. Candidate shall perform routine architectural... assignments under direction but not immediate supervision. Works independently to evaluate, select, compile data, and apply standard design techniques, procedures, and criteria. Receives instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features, and possible solutions from the lead designer. For professional developmental purposes, assignments may include some work that is typical of a higher level. Assistance is furnished on unusual problems and is reviewed for the application of sound professional judgment. Leads project delivery efforts to establish efficient and innovative approaches to communicate design intent and scope throughout all project phases to meet project requirements. Qualifications • 7+ years of professional firm working experience • Experience in interior architecture workplace or transportation projects • Sustainability experience/certifications • Expertise Using BIM Software • Revit & Rhino Requirements • Strong design sensitivity • Strong design and graphics skills • Ability to think creatively and strategically • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Knowledge of space programming, contract documents (including detailing, specifications, production management, design production), and contract administration • Ability to juggle multiple tasks, collaborate on large teams, and work well under deadlines • Ability to present design ideas and concepts to clients • Proactively maintain and prioritize deadlines Company Descriptionhttps://www.studio397architecture.com/about
