About You We seek an Intermediate Interior Designer who is interested in working cross-functionally in both interior design and architecture (but mostly interior design) who has the ability to perform at a level typically associated with 3-5 years of interior design office experience. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Interior Design is required. We're looking for the following: Design excellence in the modernist idiom. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience managing vendor and contractor relations. Working knowledge of the full design process including Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction Observation, Procurement, and Installation. Experience selecting and specifying furnishings, lighting, hardware, window coverings, materials and finishes. Experience developing design documents, drawings, elevations, details, furniture plans, client presentations, 2D/3D renderings, and preparing material palettes to demonstrate design ideas. Ability to effectively work cross-functionally with the in-house architectural team Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to perform site measurements, construction site visits, respond to RFIs, review shop drawings and control samples, and participate in furniture installations Experience creating construction drawings, specifications, and schedules ArchiCAD knowledge is desired but not required You will participate in our team-oriented design and production process under the supervision of various senior staff members including primarily under our Lead Interior Designer, in our holistic interior/architectural designs. Salary Range Commensurate with experience, ranging from $40 to $48/hour.
