About this role
DWS Co is looking for an Intermediate Interior Designer to join our growing team. This position will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of project types including retail, hospitality, and multi-family residential design across the country.
We are looking for candidates who have experience in interior design and construction, specifically having experience with creating/working on drawing sets and design detailing in Revit. We’re looking for someone who has worked on various project types in all phases of the design process, and has a passion for interior architectural drawing and detailing. In addition to collaborating with the design team on concept and design, this position will be responsible for design documentation - planning, materiality, interior architectural detailing, checking the design against interior code requirements, and working with architects on permit sets, bid sets and constructions sets.
Additional responsibilities will include concept design, furniture selection and construction administration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous setting; is nimble and adaptable in a small team environment; and brings a strong work ethic, attention-to-detail, and positive attitude to the table every day. DWS Co is a young company, so we need candidates who will roll up their sleeves, be able to wear a lot of hats, be a team player, and contribute to the overall success of the company.
